Brynne Kennedy
Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Kennedy is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at BCP Ventures. Kennedy is responsible for BCP’s investments in Greyscale AI, Pratexo, AquaPrawnics and Elite Measurements.  Kennedy was previously the Founder and CEO of HR enterprise software company Topia, which she led over nine years from an idea to global scale and to the Series D round of funding.  Under her tenure, Topia raised $100M+ in venture capital funding, acquired two companies and grew more than 100% annually.  Before Topia, Kennedy was an investment banker and private equity investor, where she helped complete more than $20B of capital raising and raised a $500M+ fund.  She has won numerous awards for her startup and technology leadership, including the CloudNow Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Women of the Future Award, Stevie Awards Female Entrepreneur of the Year and London Business School’s Distinguished Alumna Award.  Kennedy is also the author of Flat, Fluid and Fast (McGraw Hill) which forecasted the remote work revolution, a Non-Executive Director at Series B HR tech startup TaskHuman, a Co-Founder at fertility startup Acorn, and a former candidate for United States Congress. Kennedy holds an MBA from London Business School and a B.A from Yale University, and is a former elite level gymnast for the United States.

Roger Lang
Co-Founder and General Partner

Lang is a Co-Founder and General Partner at BCP Ventures. Lang is responsible for BCP’s investments in Caban Systems, UniqueWire and Ryp Labs. Lang has been starting and building companies across technology and agriculture for more than 40 years and sources many of our deals from his deep entrepreneurial networks. Lang was previously the Founder, CEO and CTO of fintech companies Infinity and CAT-S, both of which he led from an idea to IPOs on NASDAQ. After CAT-S and Infinity, Lang devoted his time to coaching, mentoring and investing in other entrepreneurs, and starting a series of transformational sustainable agriculture initiatives.  Lang bought and conserved more than 20,000 acres of land in Montana, founded and led the first ecolodge in the Northern Hemisphere, resuscitated a breed of trout and launched the world’s first conservation beef company with The Nature Conservancy.  He has endowed chairs at Stanford in environmental science and anthropology and sat on the Board of numerous environmental non-profits such as the Catalina Island Conservancy, The Pollinator Partnership and Sustainable Travel International.  Lang holds a B.A from Stanford.

Andrew Tow
Venture Partner

Tow is a Venture Partner at BCP Ventures, contributing to strategic advisory and initiatives across the fund and portfolio companies. Tow was previously the CEO and President of an $800M revenue media company, which he helped build from a small company through an IPO and to become one of the nation’s leading cable and media companies (now a part of Comcast).  Tow then raised his own fund and to invest in media companies, working closely with numerous private equity funds as a partner and advisor. Tow has been an advisor to numerous private equity funds and companies from startups to public companies, and sat on public and private company Boards.  He is currently the Founder and CEO of The Withers, an award-winning B-corp winery, and the acting CEO of Eyland Spirits, an Icelandic Spirits company.

Muhannad Abulhasan

Abulhasan is the Founder and CEO of Arzan Wealth, a global asset management and venture capital firm that he grew to over $2B in AUM.  Abulhasan helps to advise on BCP’s fund management and strategy, as well as helping with BCP’s investor initiatives and portfolio company expansion across the Middle East region.

Stephen Doyle

Doyle is the current CEO of BCP portfolio company Greyscale AI and the former President and CEO of Interflex Group, which sells packaging applications to the food industry.  He is an expert on leading and growing businesses that sell into the food, CPG and industrial space, as well as working for VC/PE backed companies.

Jim Drill

Drill is an enterprise sales and go-to-market specialist who has led global sales organizations across BMC, Imperva, Lithium, Topia and more.  Drill is now an advisor and investor in technology businesses, helping to build high-performing sales teams, and brings this expertise to BCP portfolio companies, currently supporting Pratexo.

Steve Black

Black was co-founder of Topia with Kennedy and drove product and operations at the UK scale-up. He went on to co-found a decarbonization tech startup, EcoSmart Labs, and is currently General Partner at Smart Society Ventures. He currently serves as an advisor to BCP, providing support across the portfolio.

Jason Jones

Jones was the Founding President and a Board Director of Vital Farms from founding through IPO.  Jones is now an advisor and investor across food and agtech, including a Board Member of Atlantic Sea Farms and a Founding Board Member of Naturally Austin.  Jones is currently a Board Director at BCP portfolio company, AquaPrawnics.

Paul Matteucci

Matteucci is a former General Partner at US Venture Partners, where he focused on tech, network and infrastructure investments.  Matteucci is also the Founder of FoodCrunch, which focuses on improving the ecosystem for founders starting food businesses.  He brings his technology and food investing experience to BCP.

Marceau Schlumberger

Schlumberger is an experienced investor and entrepreneur, with particular expertise in energy, power and natural resources businesses.  Schlumberger has also started and led numerous venture capital and private equity funds. Schlumberger brings his experience to BCP’s investments and fund management.

Debbie Saunders

Saunders is a brand and growth strategist, board adviser, angel investor and fractional CMO with experience across Procter & Gamble, Virgin Group, EDF Energy and a wide variety of technology startups.  Saunders brings her marketing and branding expertise to BCP companies and is currently engaged by BCP portfolio company, AquaPrawnics.

Joe Turner

Joe Turner is the Chief Financial and Business Officer at Karma Biotechnologies.  Joe was previously Managing Director at Blackstone/PJT Restructuring & Special Situations.  Joe is an advisor on financial and business strategy, and supports BCP companies in these areas, currently working closely with BCP company, AquaPrawnics.
